IRON MAIDEN are headlining Sunday August 1st, the final day of the Sonisphere Festival, and Maiden’s ONLY UK appearance of 2010. So if you haven’t already grabbed yourself a ticket, now’s the time to do it! Hot from their N.American tour which begins in Dallas on June 9th, Maiden will be flying in for Sonisphere with not only a spectacular new stage show featuring , of course, the appearance of a brand new and VERY impressive Eddie, but they’ll also be delivering a set spanning all of their illustrious career INCLUDING the live UK premiere of a song from their forthcoming new studio album THE FINAL FRONTIER.
Other artists on the bill for Sunday include Pendulum, Alice In Chains, Slayer, Skindred and Madina Lake on the Apollo Stage, Iggy & The Stooges, The Cult, Bring Me The Horizon, Dir En Grey and CKY on the Saturn Stage and Funeral for a Friend and Fightstar on the Bohemia Stage.

The first full day of SONISPHERE kicks off with FAMILY FORCE 5 opening the APOLLO stage, and sees exclusive appearances from APOCALYPTICA, ANTHRAX, MOTLEY CRUE, LACUNA COIL, PLACEBO and PAPA ROACH, plus a very special set from THERAPY?, who will play their “Troublegum” album in it’s entirety.
