Premier Music International Limited is delighted to announce a unique and wide ranging licensing deal in association with Nicko McBrain and Iron Maiden. This exclusive series of professional and mass-market branded drum products will be launched in September 2011. Last year Premier supplied the new Premier Series Elite kit with custom artwork for Maiden’s “The Final Frontier World Tour” which opened in North America in June 2010, and is currently underway in South America before heading into Europe where it will culminate with a UK Arena tour in July and August.
Nicko and Premier will be collaborating on a series of professional signature items including drumsets and snare drums alongside reissuing authentic replicas of Nicko’s tour kits including the iconic monochrome kit used on the 2003 “Give Me Ed ’til I’m Dead” tour. This creative relationship provides, for the first time, a range of Nicko and Iron Maiden-inspired drumset products, officially authorised by Nicko on behalf of the band.
Nicko McBrain comments “I have been a part of the Premier family since 1994 and we have always had a great relationship. They have taken care of my various customized touring and recording kits and support on the road. On many occasions we have talked about making available replicas of my touring kits, following a host of requests from many people and fans as to how they may get their hands on one!! We have also talked about designing and manufacturing a line of starter kits for all you up-and-coming, young or old stars in the making, whether you’re into Maiden or not. So, it is with immense pride and passion that I can announce this has finally come to fruition. We have a smashing new selection of custom kits, custom snare drums and spare parts, that I hope all you drummers (or budding drummers) will like, regardless of how long you’ve been playing. Just remember, ‘hit em hard!!!!!!!!!!
After I have finished the summer tour with the mighty Maiden, I am hoping to do a bit of an International tour of my own, along the same lines as Rhythms of the Beast. I do hope you will come along and have some fun with me and to check out our new drums and equipment.”
