MAIDEN FANS FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE BLOWN AWAY BY THE LEGACY OF THE BEAST SHOW: OPENING DATES PRONOUNCED A TRIUMPH
Live Nation is delighted to announce that every Nordic show is a complete sell out!
Global rock legends IRON MAIDEN’s new ‘Legacy Of The Beast’ Tour which opened in Nordic Europe last week is already being hailed by both media and fans alike as the most visually stunning Maiden show ever! With a set-list crammed with music across the band’s near and distant past - not just obvious hits but also fan favourites not played for many years - the first few shows have been received with nothing short of euphoria by Maiden fans. They descended on Tallinn, Estonia from every corner of the planet to be the first to witness the brand new live spectacle, then followed the band into Finland, Norway and the 40,000 capacity indoor stadium show in Stockholm, Sweden. The Nordic journey heads to Copenhagen this week, culminating with a headline performance at the Sweden Rock Festival in Solvesborg. Live Nation is delighted to announce that every Nordic show is a complete sell out and over 130,000 fans will have attended.
The Legacy Of The Beast Tour continues across Europe until early August, covering 34 cities in 24 countries with a series of shows and Festivals, many of which are already sold out..
Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood comments “Even though we’re only five shows into the new tour, the reaction from the fans has been simply overwhelming! Just watching everyone’s collective jaw drop as the elaborate stage set gradually reveals itself, has been so rewarding. We pulled out all the stops to try and make this the most spectacular live Maiden tour production ever, and hope the fans agree that we just may have done that. It’s very gratifying to see the crowd’s reaction as the setlist weaves its way through the various interlocking worlds and themes we’d been teasing people with right from the very first look at the stained glass windows last year. We were inspired by the game and its interlocking worlds for this tour and we hope our fans, after the shows, will appreciate the cohesion when they return to the mobile game and see, for example, the Cathedral PVP arena or fight with Eddie and other characters.“
