On Tuesday night at the Hard Rock Cafe in London a special evening took place for Clive Burr.

At this specially organised event, Clive Burr’s drum kit from the Beast on The Road tour was given to the Hard Rock Cafe to accompany other famous artifacts from Rock history such as Jimi Hendrix, Pete Townsend, BB King and Eric Clapton’s guitars, Mitch Mitchells drum kit and clothing worn by The Beatles, Jim Morrison and The Who.

In return the Hard Rock Cafe kindly donated a cheque for £10,000 to Clive Burr to further help him with his treatment and care.

Bruce, Adrian and Janick came down for the presentation and Bruce said a few words to pay tribute to Clive before the cheque was given to Clive by Hard Rock Cafe owner Don Bernstein.

Many famous faces turned up for the occasion including Tony Iommi, Ian Paice, Bernie Torme, The Fun Loving Criminals, members of Cradle Of Filth, Girlschool and Johnny Panic and the Hard Rock Cafe kept the free bar running all night to make it a great occasion for Clive, his partner Mimi and the many friends who attended.

Special thanks should be said to Sam Hill and Robin Guy who organised everything with the Hard Rock Cafe and to Johnnie Allan for sorting the kit out.
